Second album for DAEMONIA , group created and produced
by the ex Goblin
Claudio Simonetti with his new label DEEP RED distributed
by AUDIO GLOBE
of Florence from November 2001.
With Federico Amorosi (ex Glory Hunter) on bass, Bruno
Previtali (ex Scossa Tellurica) on guitar, Titta Tani
(ex singer of the Abstracta and Glory Hunter and DGM)
on drums and obviously Claudio Simonetti on keyboards,
DAEMONIA repropose us in this new CD all the soundtracks
contained in their first album entitled "DARIO
ARGENTO TRIBUTE" executed live with the the big
orchestra, the MOVIE STRINGS ORCHESTRA , formed by thirty
elements featuring the lyrical singers Elena Berera
and Vesna Duganova.
Soundtracks like "Profondo Rosso (Deep Red)",
"Suspiria" ,"Phenomena (Creepers)",
"Tenebre", "Opera", "Inferno",
etc. are reexecuted by the group with new arrangiaments
and new sonorities with the classical orchestra.
There are furthermore 3 bonus extras studio tracks:
"HALLOWEEN" written by John
Carpenter, "TUBULAR BELLS" written by Mike
Oldfield and "GAMMA" written by Enrico Simonetti.
Also preserving intact the atmospheres and the original
emotions, DAEMONIA
give new enamel and grit to these soundtracks which,
despite the past years, always give emotions to the
audience.
"With DAEMONIA I found the same energies and the
same wish to play on stage again that I had when I begun
with the Goblin" ! Simonetti says.
From the dissolution of the Goblin, happened in 1978,
I have continued my solo career of
compositor of musics for films writing several sound-tracks
which "Phenomena", "Demons" and
"Opera" of Dario Argento and doing also many
concerts with several musicians ".
From here he plans it to form DAEMONIA.
"Now", Simonetti adds, "I formed one
"special" band that have always followed this
music with young musicians with big passion and with
which I have entered soon the "right feeling".
While exchanging our experiences have noticed that,
despite the generation difference, we were not then
so far and that the "progressive rock" is
still alive ".
